hi! i’m jenna, a new englander turned military spouse living in nashville with my husband, toddler, and another little guy on the way. A previous event planner, life changes have since shifted me from working for the man, to now working for my family. Luckily, both hospitality and homemaking require an organizational mind, the ability to adapt to unplanned changes, and keeping people’s wants, needs, and even emotions, in check. So the transition hasn’t been too jarring…!

I am a true millennial whose first email address ended in @aol.com; if you call instead of text me I immediately think something is wrong; and I still need answers as to what happened to JonBenét Ramsey on Christmas Eve 1996!

Aside from all that basicness, I married my high school boyfriend in 2011 and I couldn’t be happier with the life we have created for ourselves. In no rush to have children, we remained childless for 10 years, and now have our second (and last) baby coming in 2025.

As a military family we have lived in over (10) different homes, (7) different states, and survived (3) different deployments. It’s a lifestyle that challenges our comforts, biases, and patience, and I’m still trying to get ahold of it some 15 years later. However, I do find it an exciting way to live. Stressful, but exciting!
