t-minus 6 days until halloween . . .
halloween is officially less than a week away! and while you may feel behind on your costume and treat selections, i’ve got a couple ideas to make the next week of your life a little easier. read along to find a handful of women’s costume ideas that you can wear again and again all year long, and some affordable treats that kids will still be excited to receive even if they’re not coated in chocolate or sugar.

i’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again, halloween candy is severely overpriced! not to mention the whole skrinkflation factor! gross. well, i’ve got some affordable solutions for you to bring along to your location trunk-or-treat, and even to pass out on halloween night. a little something for everyone, and all edible so that parents aren’t stuck collecting more and more small pieced knick- knacks.

personally, if i’m spending my money on something like a costume, i wanna get as many uses out of it as possible. TO THIS DAY I CAN’T JUSTIFY PURCHASING SOMETHING FOR A ONE TIME USE. and of course i wanna be comfortable (i know, a shocking characteristic of mine)!

it’s halloween! it’s supposed to be fun and not taken that seriously. gone for me are the days of costumes made of push-up bras and fishnet tights, but if that’s still your thing, goddamn get it girl! i’m embracing my cozy mom era, and i’m spending my money on my kids and their happiness, and keeping it simple for myself.
